Day 30 of Coaching: Relationship With Food and Exercise

The bodybuilding community and fitness industry has created and promoted extremely rigid lifestyle guidelines to achieve “fitness” and aesthetic goals. While these may work for short periods of time, they can lead to a very dangerous relationship with both food and exercise.

Eat healthy foods that you enjoy! Do physical activity that you enjoy! If you enjoy what you eat and enjoy what you do (in regards to exercise), it will promote a consistent balance for a lifetime.

Exercise directly encourages bodily cravings for healthy, nutrient dense foods. The more you exercise, the more the body craves the vital nutrients it demands!
